Chinese Talk

Eric Chen goes through a vague description of what he feels about Charlie and Locke, as well as Jack (off). He was very wary of everyone so far, except he is desperate for rice. He talks a little bit about the final moments before the plane breaks into two.

Chinese Talk takes a spin at making parodies off of hit shows, like Lost! We meet Eric Chen, one of the survivors of Flight 815, but he is more concerned about himself and his Chinese image than surviving.

Jeremy is out to discover what his mom has to say about martial arts, terrorists, snakes on a plane, a best of all, fighting Chinese doctors with a pilot license. The theory behind it is that Chinese people can defend themselves and become a successful physician in the future.

In order to add the "hipness" into Chinese Talk, I have created a MySpace account for Chinese Talk. Feel free to do nothing on it and add me as a friend if you would like to. I guarantee you I am not a 40 year old trying to lure little children, but if I was a 40 year old, I would be disciplining them. Just a reminder, Chinese Talk and Jeremy Zhao Productions do not guarantee that MySpace is "a place for friends" as indicated by the picture. So what are you waiting for? Better start "MySpace-ing."

If there is one confusing about parents, it is that they can talk about anything. Jeremy's mom recommends that by becoming a lawyer, he can cure SARS. What?

After about a month and half, Lik Lik Kan has finally posted his post-game review on the 2006 FIFA World Cup! There is also a very lovely song from La Plage titled 'Coup de Boule' which makes references to Zidane. Of course, we cannot forget the headbutt. Lik Lik would also like to say that he has no idea what the song says, but it is a very catchy toon! Goodbye soccer fans and see you in two years time at Euro 2008.

If there are any analogies comparing math marks to horses running towards the sunset, then this must be it. Jeremy and his mom discuss the reprecussions of not attaining a 206% on his next report card.

So this specific article will be updated from time to time and will show how many bowls of electronic rice everyone has at the moment. As you can see, the list is not very long. If it gets too long, I am going to have to find some either way to keep track of this.

Not me lecturing in my house type of a video, but a plain picture with Chinese Talk on it. You might ask, "that is it?". I might add, "yes, that is it!". Why would I just post Chinese Talk onto video though? Simple: to get more people to listen to it. Am I ready to release Chinese Talk to the 'real' world? I already did through my podcast, and my success at school was unprecedented (creating demand through supply works!). So I will be featuring all the Chinese Talk: Shance Dicque previews on video. Are CHINESE enough to handle Chinese Talk's new and awesome public interaction gameshow style leisure most totally random segment?

Yes! Earn yourself bags of rice by correctly answering questions posted on the podcast! What kind of questions? With the inevitable rise of China, we will be discussing the many aspects of China.

I know everyone is just waiting to be the first one to listen to this rivetting segment, but there are some questions that need to be answered:

How do I register?
In order to answer these questions, you will need to sign up for the Chinese Talk Google Group. Simply enter your email in the little Google Groups box on the right, or click on the link to sign up. It is completely free! Your email will not be distributed! No spam! Just regular blog updates, and you can even choose to have no updates sent to you!

How does this "game" work?
Be the first three people to answer the question in the "Bowls Of Rice" segment and you will receive "bags of rice". The top 5 people with the most bowls of rice will be listed on the blog on the right hand side. The 1st person to answer it will get 10 bags, 2nd person 5 bags, 3rd person 1 bag of rice. It is a simple way to get people involved in Chinese Talk!

Go France Go! Here's Lik Lik Kan's pre-game ramble!

Lik Lik Kan was out partying yesterday, but here is his second last prediction for the 2006 FIFA World Cup for the Germany Vs. Portugal match. His record is tainted, but his spirits for Germany are still high. Watch out Portugal!

Note: Due to an uploading error with Podomatic, I was unable to get this clip out on time. But I did post it on my blog that Germany was my prediction.

Lik Lik Kan has made it perfectly clear that his he is only a losing streak simply because the gambling gods have decided that he is too good, and are now changing his luck. That is also going to apply for his prediction for the France Vs. Portugal match tomorrow. Others say though, Lik Lik Kan knows nothing about soccer.

Lik Lik Kan has decided that after his wonderful streak, he simply does not care. So here's his not-on-topic guess for the first semifinal match between Germany and Italy. Lik Lik Kan has probably enough bags of rice to last him the next six years of his life already.

Lik Lik Kan may have fluked his way with his call on Germany, but he's not expecting the continued trend of [insert number] - 0 record. The two matches,
- England Vs. Portugal
- Brazil Vs. France
are too close to call. So Lik Lik is being more serious this clip about who will win and why.

All teams deserve to win, so come on China! Get your act together!

Lik Lik Kan has had an amazing predicting streak of 8 and 0 for the Round of 16. The Quarter Finals will be hard as Lik Lik Kan has to make decisive choices. For June 30th, the following matches will be play:
- Argentina Vs. Germany
- Italy Vs. Ukraine

Lik Lik's perfect streak is not going to go far with these matches, and fears his bags of rice will slowly be taken away.

After an amazing game between Ukraine and Switzerland, Ukraine prevailed, giving Lik Lik Kan a 6 - 0 prediction record. It gets down to the powerhouses tomorrow, with matches between:
- Brazil Vs. Ghana <-- not a powerhouse, but Lik Lik is a supporter for both Ghana and Brazil
- Spain Vs. France

Hard to say what will happen tomorrow.

Host Lik Lik Kan believes he is cool for having a 4-0 record so far in predicting the winning teams in the round of 16 for the FIFA World Cup. His chances may start to falter with the matches for June 26, 2006:
- Italy Vs. Australia
- Switzerland Vs. Ukraine
Lik Lik is scared about the latter match. Will Lik Lik's record still be clean, or will it be shattered by these two matches? Who knows?

Host Lik Lik Kan is now 2 - 0 for his predictions on the 2006 Fifa World Cup. Argentina and Germany both reach quarter finals. Lik Lik Kan will now talk about his predictions for the two matches played on June 25, 2006:
- England Vs. Ecuador
- Portugal Vs. Netherlands

Even if Lik Lik Kan's guesses are incorrect, technically he still has rice left over.
